For Your Business
Single-Brand Owners
Running one brand end to end, En Garde is your whole audience and campaign workflow in one place — no brand switching, no agency-style client separation, just your Brand Space. The trade-off is that you are the whole team, so the useful question is not which screens exist but which ones you should touch daily, weekly, and monthly.
Getting your first segment live
The fastest path from signup to a working campaign:
- Complete the brand-onboarding wizard — basic info, industry and company size, contact, settings, confirm. This creates your Brand Space and captures the category signals En Garde uses to seed audience intelligence.
- Connect at least one data source in Integrations first. Segments built before any purchase or engagement data is flowing will come back thin.
- In Audience, choose Create Segment: name it, pick a type (Behavioral, Demographic, Purchase History, Engagement, Lifecycle Stage, or Customer Value), select at least one criterion, and optionally narrow by date range and minimum activity.
- Wait for generation. It runs as a background job, and the segment appears with a size, a status, and a growth rate when it completes.
- Act on it — sync it to a connected tool such as Klaviyo, or build a campaign against it in Campaign Manager.
- Watch performance flow back into the same Audience and Performance views — no separate analytics tool to reconcile against.
The step-by-step version, with the screens named, is in the Quickstart.
Why cultural-affinity targeting
Instead of targeting broad demographics, En Garde builds segments from real cultural-affinity, engagement, and behavioral signals — audiences defined by how people actually engage with your brand rather than by age and location alone. That is the same intelligence layer every other part of the platform reads from, which is why a segment you build in Audience is immediately usable as a campaign target, as a Klaviyo sync, and as the condition an agent watches. One useful caveat while you are reading the numbers: a person can belong to several segments at once, so adding segment sizes together overcounts. The unique audience count is reported separately for that reason.
A working rhythm
With one brand there is no switching overhead, so the platform reduces to a short loop:
- Daily — Dashboard for the state of play, and the Agent Inbox if anything is waiting on your decision. Ask Ennie AI is the fastest way to interrogate your own numbers without building a report.
- Weekly — Content Studio to move assets from draft through review to scheduled, Campaign Manager for what is live, and the Approval Queue if you have anything pending.
- Monthly — Performance and Attribution, read under more than one model. First touch, last touch, linear, time decay, and position-based will each tell a different story about the same conversions, and the difference is usually the interesting part.
- As needed — Funnels, when a campaign is more than a single push and you want awareness through retention laid out as stages with their own conversion rates.
Adding a second pair of hands
You do not need a workspace restructure to bring in a freelancer or a first hire. Invite them by email from Team Management and give them a role: Editor can create and edit campaigns and content and view analytics, but cannot manage the team, change settings, or modify budgets; Viewer is read-only. Keep Owner to yourself — it is the only role with billing access and the ability to delete the workspace. If campaigns should not go live without your sign-off, they land in the Approval Queue instead of launching, and you approve or decline them there.
Growing into automation
Automate the parts you have already done by hand at least once. The lowest-effort entry point is not building a workflow — it is reviewing suggestions. Walker Agents watch your data and propose actions with a confidence score and an estimated revenue effect, and you execute, pause, or reject each one. When you do want to build something yourself, the Agent Suite is the canvas, and Agent Workflows explains the model end to end.
How the platform reaches you
Running alone, notification settings matter more than they do on a team. You can enable email with a delivery frequency, and enable WhatsApp after verifying your number with a code. Quiet hours suppress notifications between a start and end time you set, so agent suggestions do not arrive overnight. These are configured in the Walker Agent settings, and they govern how agents get your attention outside the app.
